Project Description

Binuhat Festival
Festive Colors....Explosion of Talents.....Sheer Freedom....Gay....These make Tagum City a must-see destination in the Philippines. This makes Binuhat Festival -the longest-running gay festival in the Philippines -as a must- experience event of the year.

Creation. That is the meaning of Binuhat. It does not signify just an ordinary creation but a creation that offers the world nothing less than their talents, skills and laughter.

Binuhat Festival recognize the magnanimous role gays  in the society play in the progress of  a nation. It is but right and appropriate for Tagum City to give them a week of showcasing their talents. Gone were the days of discrimination. Gone were the days of hiding. Gone were the days of partiality

Originally started in July 2008, Binuhat Festival is now on its fourth year. Four years now and still getting stronger, getting merrier and getting grander.
